Sulfide Mining in Michigan's Upper Peninsula

  1. Hi Barbara... Yellow Dog Plains is where we pick our wild blueberries each August. Sigh... I was hoping that this sulfide mine wouldn't happen. I wrote a blog last summer about it and Eagle Rock. It's simply discouraging. I'm glad you posted this.

  2. Upwoods, The thing to do is to keep posting so people will know about the sulfide mine in such a wonderful place. I believe Lake Superior should be made a UNESCO site to protect it.
